The Role

We are currently seeking an Area Sales Manager to join our ŠKODA sales team.  The successful candidate will be responsible for working with our dealer network to grow and develop all qualitative and quantitative aspects of their Sales Business.

The successful candidate will be accountable for;

  • Building strong relationships with the dealer network in order to maximise dealer profitability and customer satisfaction
  • Developing strong working relationships with the dealer network to ensure achievement of  monthly sales targets
  • Monitoring dealer performance against KPI’s and working with dealers to implement marketing plans in their PMA
  • Partnering with the dealer network and creating plans on Customer Satisfaction
  • Identify market opportunities and partner with dealers to implement strategies to deliver positive brand results

Selection Criteria

To qualify for this role, you must:

  • Appropriate experience in a similar role from the automotive wholesale industry
  • Proven ability in management of multiple stakeholders and tasks simultaneously
  • Experience with European manufacturers - desirable
  • A collaborative approach to the development and execution of strategies which improve operational excellence and dealer performance
  • The ability to apply strong analytical skills to gain insight into business performance and develop impactful plans
  • A natural style of accountability when managing multiple projects and delivering to deadlines
  • A coaching approach to driving a high performance culture; ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build robust relationships
  • Ability to work in a compact  and dynamic team with focus on long term results and dealer growth
  • High degree of IT literacy across a number of systems/platforms
  • Strong business acumen and proven ability to identify and drive areas of business improvement


Please note this role requires frequent regional and interstate travel.
