Volkswagen Group Australia, the nation’s leading importer of European vehicles, is looking for a Regulatory Engagement & Continuous Improvement Specialist driven multitasker, to join its Group Business Operations team based at VGA’s new national headquarters at Zetland in inner city Sydney.

Reporting to VGA’s Governance, Quality Assurance and Sustainability Manager (newly created role), the Regulatory Engagement & Continuous Improvement Specialist would work across the entire organisation at every level, ensuring our regulatory compliance against all operational standards within the business.

This role will facilitate the currency of corporate governance and regulations at VGA are maintained, as well as continuously improving the quality of policies and processes across the organisation. The role will assist department owners to update or implement new policies and process where required, furthermore, responsible for the tracking and reporting of corporate governance protocols.

The role will:

  • Facilitate VGA’s Corporate Governance framework, regarding policies, processes, and important documents, Regulations Steering Committee and policy approval process.
  • Facilitate the overall Nintex Promapp system migration project between VGA & AA, and assist Promapp Professional Services with system health check and adopting best practice.
  • Lead department migrations with Promapp Professional Services.
  • Facilitate departments to digitise their documents and workflows.
  • Facilitate other Corporate Governance tasks regarding Officer roles, Regulations Steering Committee, Policy approval process but not limited too.
  • Assist to establish Group Business Operations as a Centre of Excellence (COE) for Corporate Governance management.
  • Identify, analyse, and evaluate the effectiveness of current policies and business processes that are in scope of the corporate governance and regulations at VGA.
  • Facilitate a wide range of quality activities across the organisation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements by liaising with all internal risk management functions while supporting the development and implementation of the organization's compliance policy
  • Support VGA’s Nintex Promapp system in managing official documents/processes and VGA’s DocuSign system in managing digital signing.
  • Facilitate system usage, promote awareness and provide training to power users across the organisation.

 

To be successful for the role, the applicant must possess:

  • Business process management qualification desired, preferred Nintex Promapp experience.
  • Strong policy writing skills.
  • Experience with corporate governance and continuous process improvements.
  • Knowledge and experience of Nintex Promapp and DocuSign systems.
  • An ability to make sense of complex information in order to solve problems
  • A track record in effectively uncovering root causes and underlying issues
  • A natural style that gains the confidence and trust of others
  • The ability to equip others with knowledge and skills to solve problems and handle tasks
  • Written and verbal communication skills of the highest order
  • A track record in delivering and influencing others to deliver to defined milestones and deadlines
  • Confidence in influencing without authority
  • A strong grasp of project management practices and principles

 

Bachelor’s Degree (desired) and/or experience (minimum 5-7+ years) that successfully demonstrates the required capabilities.
