Area Aftersales Manager (24m)

About your new Role 
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, Area Aftersales Manager to join our team in Victoria on a full-time 24 month contract.

This role will be providing business development support, Aftersales operational support and expertise to the Volkswagen, Skoda and Cupra dealer network within an assigned geographical area.

In response to identifying dealer performance issues and opportunities to improve the operational performance, this role will provide remedial and proactive support to all components of the Aftersales business.
 

The key accountabilities will also include building strong and trusting relationships with stakeholders, driving business programs and initiatives, regularly monitoring, assessing, ensuring targets are met/exceeded, driving customer experience, monitoring and improvement of customer satisfaction and service retention, proactively seeking high performance in all aftersales metrics and quantitative and qualitative solutions across the dealer network for the successful execution and continual improvement.

Selection Criteria

To qualify for this role you must:

• Possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an aftersales role within the automotive industry or/and have experience of senior account management, business development & consulting;

• Candidates with the above skills/experience and automotive industry knowledge are preferred. Be able to excel in a corporate environment, through strong stakeholder management, communication, and attention to detail;

• Can do mindset, entrepreneurial thinking, influence outcomes,

• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact and influence,

• Team player, Self-driven with the ability to work autonomously;

• Champion a strong work ethic coupled with sound judgment and customer focus; and

• Be fluent in metrics/reporting as well as in the MS Office suite.
