About your new Role
In this position within VGA you will report to our National Sales Manager for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and partner with Commercial Vehicle dealers to drive dealer performance and achieve the highest possible standard of customer satisfaction across Victoria and South Australia.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Improve Commercial Vehicle Dealer Performance via

Monitoring industry trends and directions and creating action plans that positively impact dealer performance.

Review Marketing Plans for dealer and consult on development of annual marketing plan, ensuring advertising complies with CI guidelines.

Monitoring Channel Mix of dealer advertising and making recommendations where appropriate.

Track and make recommendations regarding Dealer Stock Pipeline Management and monitor Dealer Aged Stock and create action plans as required.

Review PMA Market activities and create action plans for protection and growth of Market share.

Monitor and interrogate Fleet Business activity and create action plans for increase fleet penetration in dealers PMA – specifically SME fleet activity.

Provide comprehensive dealer visit reports that identify performance improvement opportunities, monitor Dealer prospect activity and CSS performance and make recommendations as appropriate.

Possess deep knowledge of Dealer operations, drivers and strategic goals and provide thought leadership to shape and improve dealer outcomes.

Understand the key drivers of customer satisfaction and retention and co-ordinate with the dealer network to identify the correct levers to pull (and when) in order to maximise performance in this area.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following:

5 + years in Sales/dealer development in the automotive industry or extensive experience in dealership.

Proven experience in improving or driving dealer performance.

Strong understanding of Fleet management.

Strong reporting analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and recommend business improvements.

Strong coaching ability to build capability and solve solution.
-
Practical problem solving skills with an operational focus.

Demonstrated ability to continuously improve processes.

Can influence stakeholders whilst maintaining strong relationships.
