About your new role | We’re looking for an unconventional, data driven marketing leader to champion CUPRA’s Rebel positioning in Australia—bringing daring, challenging ideas to life while leading media, campaigns and partnerships that drive measurable growth across the full end-to-end customer journey.

 

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Lead CUPRA Australia’s annual key media partner negotiations in collaboration with the media agency, securing additional value through strategic annual commitments and mutually beneficial marketing initiatives with major media partners.
  • Lead localisation of global CUPRA campaigns for Australian audiences and drive paid communications and demand creation, positioning CUPRA as a daring challenger brand while building awareness, consideration and lead generation through integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Own the top of the customer funnel (awareness → identifiable leads) ensuring marketing investment converts into measurable outcomes within the CUPRA Australia digital ecosystem.
  • Work closely with the Digital Content Specialist and eCommerce team to align campaigns, website journeys and data capture so marketing activity supports test drives, sales and lifetime customer value.
  • Manage CUPRA Australia’s social channels (Instagram and Facebook) ensuring consistent brand voice and alignment with campaign activity.
  • Coordinate marketing activity across CUPRA HQ, Volkswagen Group Australia, agencies and CUPRA Garages, ensuring consistent brand execution and effective campaign delivery.

 

About you

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following:

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing/Commerce/Business/Economics/Finance or equivalent
  • Experience in automotive marketing and working with global HQ and centralised marketing functions desirable
  • 5+ years’ experience in a fast-paced consumer marketing environment with understanding of media buying, emerging digital concepts and analytical marketing approach
  • Knowledge of all fields of marketing, focusing on communications (advertising, media planning, sponsoring, market research, social/ambassador and digital specific marketing areas)
  • Experience managing the development of integrated multi-channel, integrated campaigns for brand and sales activities
  • Strong experience in managing agencies and suppliers
  • Strong advisory, communication and leadership skills
  • Practical problem solving skills with a joint strategic and operational focus
  • High numbers focus for evaluation of media and budgeting
