About Your New Role
The Škoda Regional Manager plays a key role in driving dealer performance, sales outcomes, and the continued growth of the brand across your assigned region. As the primary point of contact between Škoda Australia and the Dealer Network, you'll work closely with Dealers to achieve sales targets, improve customer outcomes, and ensure alignment with Škoda's operational and brand standards.
Working across a wide range of stakeholders including Marketing, Product, Aftersales, Retail Planning, Logistics and Network Development, you'll play an important role in ensuring alignment across the business and helping Škoda continue its growth journey in Australia.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, developing dealer capability, and making a meaningful impact on both dealer and brand success.
Your Main Responsibilities Will Include:
- Partner with the Dealer Network to achieve new vehicle sales targets and deliver sustainable growth across the region.
- Monitor dealer performance, sales activity, stock levels, and market trends, identifying opportunities and implementing action plans to drive results.
- Support the development and execution of retail campaigns, sales initiatives, and marketing activities to maximise customer demand and conversion.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, performance insights, and recommendations to support business planning and decision-making.
- Drive improvements in customer experience outcomes by working closely with Dealers to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Support the growth and performance of the Škoda Approved: Plus used vehicle program across the Dealer Network.
- Build and maintain strong dealer relationships through regular dealership visits, performance reviews, coaching, and business planning activities.
- Support the growth of Corporate Sales by working with the National Fleet Manager to identify business opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and drive corporate sales performance across the network.
- Ensure dealership compliance with Škoda standards, including Corporate Identity, operating standards, training requirements, and facility presentation.
- Develop dealer capability through coaching, training support, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Act as the key liaison between the Dealer Network and internal stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Product, Aftersales, Retail Planning, Logistics, and Network Development.
About You:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Automotive, Marketing, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience within the automotive industry, ideally across OEM, dealer network, sales operations, or regional management environments.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse performance data, identify opportunities, and develop practical solutions that drive business outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to a range of audiences.
- Proven presentation and influencing skills, with confidence engaging Dealer Principals, investors, senior dealership leaders and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across a diverse stakeholder group, while effectively managing challenging or sensitive conversations when required.
- Strong planning, organisational, and time management skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities across a large dealer network.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes for both Dealers and customers.
- Experience coaching, developing, and supporting dealer teams to improve performance, capability, and customer satisfaction outcomes.
- High level of professionalism, resilience, and accountability, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and commercially driven environment.
- A current and valid driver's licence.
