About your new Role

As a Regional Sales Manager (VIC/TAS), you will act as the key liaison between Audi Australia and the Dealer Network for the Southern Region. You will drive Dealer sales performance across new, used and corporate channels, ensure operational standards are maintained, and support the delivery of a premium customer experience across your region.

This role plays a pivotal part in achieving core sales KPIs for Audi Australia by monitoring performance, implementing countermeasures, supporting Dealer capability development, and providing critical regional insights to the wider Sales and Planning teams.

 

Your main responsibilities will include: 

  • Supporting the wholesale of vehicles to the Dealer Network and monitoring stock levels, stock turn and aged stock
  • Participating in the setting and communication of Dealer sales targets, retail campaigns and funding support
  • Monitoring Dealer performance against new, used and corporate sales targets and developing countermeasure plans
  • Supporting Marketing plans at both a national and Dealer level to drive lead generation and sales conversion
  • Providing accurate weekly sales forecasts including variance commentary and action planning
  • Supporting the implementation of Audi Approved: plus used car initiatives and monitoring performance
  • Monitoring Customer Experience Management (CEM) performance and deploying countermeasures where required
  • Conducting regular Dealer visits and completing Dealer Visit Reports (DVRs) with actions, risks and opportunities
  • Supporting the Audi Corporate Sales program, including events, prospecting and capability development within Dealers
  • Ensuring Dealer facilities maintain compliance with Audi’s Corporate Identity (CI) guidelines
  • Supporting the rollout of Dealer development initiatives including new formats, BEV expansion, facility upgrades and quality audits
  • Monitoring Dealer performance against Dealer of the Year (DOTY) KPIs and supporting initiatives to achieve targets
  • Ensuring Dealer staff maintain required training levels and identifying capability gaps
  • Supporting compliance with Dealer Operating Standards and the annual review process
  • Acting as a liaison between Dealers and internal Audi/VGA stakeholders across Marketing, Aftersales, Product Planning, Logistics and Network Development
  • Providing timely resolution of network issues without the need for senior escalation
  • Coordinating and participating in regional Dealer roundtable meetings

 

About you
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business or related discipline
  • 5+ years’ experience in an automotive-related discipline
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to hold crucial conversations with Dealer Principals, investors and senior dealership staff
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills
  • Proven ability to drive Dealer performance and implement effective countermeasure plans
  • Ability to build capability within dealerships through coaching and mentoring
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
