About Your New Role
Reporting to the Head of Sales - Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, you will be the key link between Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Australia and our dealer network across your region.

Working closely with Dealer Principals, General Managers and Sales Managers, you'll support dealers to achieve their sales and customer experience objectives, while identifying opportunities to improve performance, grow market share and strengthen fleet sales activity.

This is a highly relationship-focused role where you'll partner with dealers to drive results, provide commercial guidance and represent the voice of the dealer within Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Build strong relationships with Dealer Principals and key dealership stakeholders across the region.
  • Support dealers to achieve sales, market share and customer experience targets.
  • Monitor dealer performance and work with dealers to implement improvement plans where required.
  • Conduct regular dealer visits and work with dealers to implement action plans that improve performance outcomes.
  • Review dealer stock levels, stock turn and aged inventory, and assist dealers in maintaining healthy stock positions.
  • Support growth of fleet and corporate sales across the region.
  • Coach and mentor dealer teams in sales performance, lead management and customer experience.
  • Support dealer development initiatives and ensure compliance with Volkswagen standards, training requirements and Corporate Identity guidelines.
  • Work closely with internal teams including Marketing, Product Planning, Aftersales, Logistics and Network Development.
  • Prepare performance reporting, sales forecasts and market insights to support business objectives.
  • Represent Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles at dealer meetings, roundtables and committee forums.

 

About You:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in automotive sales, dealership operations, dealer development, fleet sales or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of dealership operations, dealer performance drivers and automotive retailing.
  • Demonstrated success influencing stakeholders and delivering commercial outcomes.
  • Experience analysing sales, stock and performance metrics and implementing improvement plans.
  • Strong communication, presentation and relationship-management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Hold a current and valid driver's licence.
