The Role

We’re on the search for a Retailer Marketing Manager to deliver against all key Bentley marketing metrics across the Australia and New Zealand region.

Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing – Asia Pacific, this role will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to deliver on brand and sales targets.

 

About the opportunity

  • Formulate and execute the overarching marketing strategy for the ANZ region, in conjunction with the Bentley APAC and Bentley Factory team
  • Ensure Retailer marketing activity is planned, delivered and effectively analysed, in line with prospect and sales targets
  • Regularly visit the Retailer network across Australia and New Zealand and act as both mentor and guide to drive all aspects of their marketing, including Events, Aftersales, Pre-Owned marketing, Public Relations and CRM
  • With the support of a local PR agency, brief, manage, execute and evaluate national events. Coordinate and manage relevant agency support
  • Manage local partnerships and sponsorships and oversee activations and events associated with them
  • Maintain open channels of communication with the regional and Central Brand Marketing, PR and CRM functions, while working closely together with the Sales and Aftersales colleagues
  • Plan and execute a local Press and PR strategy, including launch events, vehicle loans, press releases and media communications
  • With the support of a media agency, plan, execute and evaluate the always-on paid media plan
  • Successfully manage a Pre-owned marketing strategy and Aftersales Marketing
  • Plan, manage and evaluate sub-regional budget

Selection Criteria

About you

  • Bachelor level education in Marketing (or related discipline) and/or minimum of 5 years hands-on operational experience in Retail / Marketing / Franchise (preferably automotive) environments
  • Knowledge and understanding of  the Retailer landscape– motivation, priorities and environment
  • Ability to influence stakeholders to firm deadlines
  • Corporate Mentoring/Coaching experience
  • Agency management experience
  • Event management experience
  • Public Relations experience
  • Negotiation and relationship building proficiency
  • Budget management skills and experience
  • Well-developed planning and project management skills
  • Impeccable oral communication
  • Available to travel regularly domestically and internationally (when able)
