About your new Role

Škoda Australia is looking for a Sales Planning & Ordering Manager to oversee sales volume planning, strategy development, and product alignment to ensure stock levels meet market and budgetary goals while fostering collaboration with Product Managers and Regional Sales Managers.
Your main responsibilities will include:

Planning for the Sales and Market volumes, both short and long term, ensuring that available stock is commensurate with budget and market planning.

Development, recommendation and tracking of sales and financial strategies to meet the sales objectives.

Maintaining a close relationship with Product Manager to ensure continued business with product changes (SOP, EOP, Special Editions, restrictions, etc.)

Preparation and delivery of monthly performance reports for Management and Region.

Provide relevant support in executing retail/sales campaigns, incentive programs and other initiatives to drive sales and monitor regularly dealer inventory levels and mix, highlighting non-compliance of stocking policies.

Monitor weekly order and mix to ensure orders are filled to meet sales requirements. Consistent communication with region planning division to ensure our changes or requests are front of mind.

Facilitate the preparation and reconciliation of tactical budget, campaign proposals, dealer payments, dealer recharges, dealer performance bonuses and individual support requests as well as undertaking feasibility studies as required.

Supervise the review and adjustment as necessary of systems, country sales, ordering to ensure appropriately specified vehicles that meet technical and market oriented specification and mixes and support with sales planning in new model pricing applications for factory submission.

Maintain a sound relationship with the Factory and closely monitor the relationship between Sales, Planning, Product and Marketing.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following:

Tertiary qualification business/economics/finance.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in an operational/analytical sales role.

Strong automotive industry knowledge (market and technical).
-
Strong communication skills across varying audiences.
-
Knowledge of regulatory environment for vehicle registration and specification as well as advertising and communications.

Strong negotiation skills and practical problem solving skills with an operational focus.
-
High attention to detail and time management skills.
-
Project management skills and advanced levels in Microsoft software.
