The Group Aftersales team is focused on delivering an exceptional ownership experience for customers with Volkswagen, Škoda, CUPRA and Audi vehicles. The team works closely with our dealer network to ensure vehicle servicing, repairs, maintenance, spare parts, accessories, technical support and customer care are delivered to the highest standards for our customers.

 

About your new Role

We’re looking for a Technical Training Specialist who is passionate about the automotive industry and skilled in delivering engaging, impactful training programs. In this role, you’ll develop, evolve and deliver technical training that enhances product knowledge, lifts technical expertise, and ensures our staff and dealer network are equipped to deliver the outstanding customer experiences our brands are known for.

 

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Design and deliver engaging technical qualification programs across Volkswagen Group Australia brands
  • Develop training content using adult learning techniques, ensuring programs remain current and effective
  • Facilitate technical courses and assessments to build capability within the dealer network
  • Support apprenticeship programs and liaise with third parties to achieve training outcomes
  • Maintain training facilities, vehicles, and materials to the highest standards
  • Collaborate with Technical Support and Product Support teams to provide advanced product knowledge and technical presentations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by evaluating and refining training content and delivery methods

 

About you
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following:

  • Formal Technician qualification
  • Strong technical expertise and problem-solving ability within the automotive industry
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering training programs
  • Knowledge of Aftersales Qualifications and the broader automotive environment
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and coaching skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Previous experience with Volkswagen Group brands (highly regarded)
