About your new Role
Reporting to the Head of Fleet, you will be responsible for actively promoting the sale of Volkswagen Passenger, Commercial Vehicles, CUPRA and Skoda to the Corporate Fleet segment while acquiring new business and maintaining strong ongoing relationships with fleet clients.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Prospect and identify potential corporate clients through networking, direct outreach and relationship building.
- Develop and implement strategies to generate incremental Corporate Fleet sales opportunities, including the identification and direct prospecting of new business.
- Prepare and present responses to client tenders and RFP processes.
- Utilise Volkswagen Group Australia's sales methodology to develop customer acquisition strategies.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing Fleet clients and Fleet Management Organisations (FMOs) through strategic account management and regular customer visits.
- Deliver product and business presentations to key clients and Fleet Management Organisations to maximise Volkswagen Group Australia's share of wallet.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date customer database and oversee the administration of fleet vehicle ordering, invoicing and delivery.
- Ensure effective communication and information flow regarding ordering, invoicing and delivery between brands, Finance, suppliers, dealers and fleet customers.
- Partner with the dealer network to develop Corporate Fleet sales opportunities and support the achievement of fleet sales objectives.
- Work closely with dealers to identify and pursue Corporate Fleet prospects across Australia.
- Participate in and assist with the planning and execution of fleet functions and events.
- Manage fleet account aftersales relationships, ensuring technical support is provided through relevant Volkswagen Group Australia departments.
About you
- Strong understanding of the fleet industry.
- Sound knowledge of dealership operations.
- Understanding of vehicle mechanical and technical applications.
- Strong product knowledge.
- Proven experience in business development and relationship management.
- Logical and practical approach to problem solving and decision making.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Results-oriented with the ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
